A solo half marathon with a huge personal best
With years of running experience in the books (or legs), both in a club and on my own, I was looking for a new way to break my personal best on the half marathon.
I looked at both the options of a static training plan (from the interwebs) and personal coaching but neither really matched with what I wanted… and then I heard about Trenara during a Dutch podcast (LoopPraat)!
From the first second, the app was exactly what I needed. Dynamic enough so that I could really get the most out of my sessions, challenging enough because I was presented with workouts that I would never start myself and, not unimportant, it is also super affordable.
There were many tough sessions, but each time I was able to complete them as planned. The plan was varied and challenging and I really felt myself getting faster week after week. I know this looks like a promo talk, and well, it sort of is 😅 I’m a fan.
I ended up running a half marathon 14 minutes faster than my PB. It just blew my mind. Trenara is the ideal app for anyone who likes to run and I am happy to recommend it.
